While specialty procedures are rarely extensively covered by dental insurance, we do try to accommodate our insurance-driven general dentist partners. Our general dentist partner would be responsible for credentialing Dr. Louie and obtaining pre-authorizations prior to booking appointments. However, we do not accept Medicaid.

We believe that every office has its own unique culture. Our goal is to help you grow your practice according to your values so that your patients can receive the comprehensive and convenient care they deserve. Although we have our own fee schedule, we work closely with our general dentist partners to customize a specialty fee schedule that benefits the general dentist, specialist, and ultimately the patient.

This model is a mutually beneficial relationship that includes: 

• Increased convenience and comfort for your patients. Patients can continue receiving specialty care at their established dental home without visiting a new, unfamiliar office.

• Improved communication and case acceptance. Dr. Louie personally communicates with his general dentist partners and their team. There won't be any phone-tagging between front desks or long email chains. With the specialist and general dentist at one location, patients can receive direct feedback from both doctors with confidence. 

• Increased production for your office. A percentage of the production will be retained by your office, not referred away. 

Dr. Louie brings his own equipment and supplies (including implants and bone grafts). Small disposable items would ideally be provided by the general dental practice. We ask that our general dentist partners provide an experienced registered dental assistant (RDA) that day to assist Dr. Louie chairside and with sterilization. Although we do not have a minimum requirement for the number of patients scheduled per day, priority scheduling is given to offices with fuller schedules.
